Back, after a loooong time:)

I haven’t even realized it’s been so long since I wrote my last post here. I guess my efforts to finally finish my MA just got me totally occupied, and I had less time for dancing and writing about dancing.

But my final exam is over (hallelujah!) and I’m back.

I found an interesting video today, wonder what would you think about it. Although the article calls it “belly dance” as the closest thing they know to this shaking and twisting, but you can see that it’s not really the case. For me the most important thing is that everybody seems to have fun, so I can totally support it. But obviously this video got some negative reactions as well.

So my questions are: who can dance and what to be “appropriate”? Are there any rules like that? Should there be any? Who decides? Feel free to share your opinion!
